Open Access (Read & Publish) agreements

Northern Health Library is pleased to announce a Read and Publish agreement with the following publishers, which includes a limited open access publishing component. These agreements provide Northern Health staff with the opportunity to publish their work as open access in eligible journals without having to pay author processing charges.

Publishing your research as open access enhances its visibility and impact by making it freely available to a global audience. We encourage researchers planning submissions to Springer journals to act quickly to take advantage of this valuable opportunity.

For more information, please contact the Library team at NHLibInfo@nh.org.au.

Affiliation Information

At a minimum, affiliations should include ‘Northern Health, Melbourne, Australia’. ‘Melbourne’ is more recognisable than 'Epping' to those outside of Australia.

Example: Division of Surgery, Northern Health, Melbourne, Australia.

More details such as campus can be added after the division/department name, e.g. Division Name and/or Department Name, Campus (e.g. Bundoora Centre).
